im back from esplanade!!! been spending the last 3 days there.

was playing basketball on wed night, when suddenly most storeman in my coy was activated.
received news that Rajanratnan had passed away and we are on standby for a week.
then learn how to set up tentage as we will be providing the ration for those activated.

next day on thur, prepared all the stores and left for esplande around afternoon. set up the tentage and tables and stuff. when ration comes, we will prepare and issue out. me, sam, sean and mark will be staying over to look after the stores, so we went back camp ard 7 after dinner to bath and rest. 9+ reach and we are back to esplande to spend the long night. the whole night was unbearable. everytime i lie down, the fucking sandflies will buzz ard my ear. was bitten all over the body and face. so desperate that we even try to slp on the ground which is full of stones. total uninterrupted slp amounts to probably less than an hour.

fri 0730, the other arrived to help out. was only able to go back camp ard 1+ after lunch to rest cause we stayed overnite. the fucking new driver was so slow and took a supposingly short cut which took a longer time instead. was so tired but couldnt slp because im the V Com. reach camp ard 50mins later. sadly, 4oclock ticks and we had to go back to esplande. went in to the command post to take over yuxiang. had to provide food for those working in the command post, mostly officers. leave esplande ard 9+ on commercial bus. was so happy that we reached camp cause we can finally slp. then noe that had to wait for the slow army bus to reach and return stores. the bus arrived only after 11. quickly bath after that then went to bed.

woke up today at 0340. 3 hrs of slp only!! went back to esplande. go to command post, help set up the breakfast and later lunch for the command post ppl. so shag, stand whole day, take this take that. saw our CDF ( 3 stars!!) and many 'crabs'. day ended only at 5pm finally.... went back camp den return all the stores. bath and Book out lo!! heng heng...see the canteen uncle, and he fetch us out of camp to the busstop. took a cab and here im ...home sweet home
