2nd wk of work and so much trouble came up liao... fucking helll ... for a BIG company with so many branches worldwide and they dun even haf a IT support in Singapore. Cost savings they say, crazy I say. I believe at this moment, some of our client had lost some millions in bizness or so they say. i shall not name any names...
it was alrite in the morning .... even had a free lunch treat from manager for us.... then it was a disaster after 2pm. Network crash... most clients keep calling us to check..... with no internet access, they are not able to communicate with clients , email , check stocks, send proposal (in millions if i did not hear wrong), and many more... money is lost as they call.... called the IT support in ENGLAND... yes ENGLAND !! and all they could help is gif us some useless solution which just waste our time. got scolded from a few clients ( no network = cannot do work = go crazy) but some others were quite understanding( Im the fucking recep and not the IT guy... no pt scolding me.... )
hopefully the network is already up at this moment if not tml is going to be another apologetic day...
