Lazy X Ignorant with an attitude. Bad attitude that is.
Clubbing was always met with lazy or ignorant bouncers and staff. Yesterday was at St james. Met up with Dan earlier in the day to collect 2 free tix to St James. Dg had won the tix from a lucky draw which he had not entered from UK Primeland. Since he seldom club, he asked the person to give me the tix.
At the queue, I showed the bouncers the 2 tix. Ignorant no. 1 - he probably has not seen the tix before and checked with his colleague. Ignorant no. 2 - his fellow colleague probably has not seen the tix before as well. But they decided lazily to go ahead with what was written on the bottom of the tix. It says something like this portion of the tix can be used to redeem 1 drink.
Ok, Dan and me then went inside to the cashier area. Ignorant no. 3 - the bouncer put his hand out and so i happily pass him my cc. He then went on to swipe at the machine. However the machine doesn't response to my cc. There is nothing wrong with my cc because the the machine is not meant for cc. The bouncer then went to get another colleague. He came, looked at the cc and give me an attitude face and then said 'you give me your cc for what?', and walk away. I was like how the fuck I know.
Luckily their ignorance did not spoil the day as Dan and me drank the night away.
I had initially wanted to used stupid instead of ignorance. Then I rem Jl telling me stupid is a strong violent word. So... hahah

Sad, my laptop is officially dead. Earlier diagnois by the customer service officer at the repair centre was that my motherboard is spoilt. However HP just called me and told me that my processor is also spoilt. The total damages add up to around $1.1k. Guess I have to stick to my desktop till September for the IT or whatever fair. Sian!

Dear Hewlett Packard,
You just pissed off a customer today. Having a laptop in a non working condition is already bad for the customer, and you have to further add on to the misery with your lousy customer service. Your call centre I supposed is situated in India. Nevermind the accent because I live in a multuicultural country and got used to it. But please do something about the CSO's service and the super long lag time for the long distance call. She was polite even though she had to repeat herself as I couldn't catch what she was saying. But she kept silence half the time after I have replied, and kept asking me to restart the laptop and press f10 to go into bios. I've already told her the screen is not loading and that it doens't go into bios after pressing f10. Either she could not hear what I said because of the lag time in the call or she simply want to piss me off. Either way, the call got cut off because my handphone used up its juice. So please go and improve your call centre or maybe move them nearer to Singapore, like Vietnam or Thailand. They do provide cheap labour as well.

Just when I thought that I should be more proactive in looking for a job today, my companion of 2 years broke down. It was so trustable during my SIM days, but it became cranky quite often lately. Today it beep thrice when I power it on. Because of this, I have to use my aging desktop with the almost defunct 17-inch monintor. That's right, I haven got a LCD.
Then I message friends and search the net for some answers. I found out that it could be my ram problem. Being the IT idiot, i tried to unscrewed the back cover but failed to open it. Then I decided to meet Dan so he could have a try. Dan, Alex and me went to TPY KFC to have lunch as well as to fix the laptop. Dan took out the rams and tried the various combinations of fitting the rams into different slots but still we could'nt solve in. I got restless because it mean I can't use my laptop!
We stayed till 8+ in TPY before we went home. I immediately went to mum's friend's hse because mum's friend's son is an IT expert. He took could'nt solve the problem as well. He put his ram in and managed to shorten the beep to once, not that it help though. I left home dejected. Haha.
Now I am typing this entry with my 5 years old desktop. It should be a dinosaur in IT age. Tomorrow I'm going down to HP service centre to get it repair. Pray that it could be solved on the same day and it is not expensive.

Paying for a smoother face
I just went for my first facial! Hahah. Went to Ah Hong's aunt shop Beauty Aesthetic at AMK just now with Ys. It was freaking pain la because I got too many deeply clogged pores.
I signed a Purifying (peel) treatment course for $468 - 6 facial treatment plus free 2 facial and 2 eye treatment. But before starting on the treatment, she told me that it would be better if I do this $198 Medibac clearing with ultrasound exfloliating treatment first and it cost only 50% because it is my first time. So i agreed. After the treatment, I was once again pyscho to buy the dermologica products which they used. So I bought this Medibac clearing kit for $79.20 and it is pretty small that it probably would'nt last for 1 month or so.
Anyway, I can already feel the smoothness of my skin while washing my face just now. lol. Hope it stays the same from today onwards.

Half an hour later, the bus still didn't come. So I called them and the person don't even know what is happening. She called back 15mins later and told me that the coach is caught in a massive jam and will only arrive by 5pm. With nothing to do, we went Starbucks to chill.

Anyway we witness a funny incident at the Singapore custom. An old man in his 50s or 60s decided that he should cut the queue since he is alone and old. Apparently, the person behind didn't think so and he shouted loudly "Police, this man want to cut queue. Please send somebody here". Meanwhile, another man also asked the old man not to cut queue but he was met with vulgarities. Nobody came, so the first man shouted for the police again. After sometime, a policeman came and escort the old man away to join another queue perhaps. Everybody then cheered and clapped. Haha. Before the old man left, he smilingly pointed the middle finger and scolded some vulgarities.
After passing though the automatic clearance system, we have to have our bags checked. Sadly, I was caught with 2 packets of chewing gums. The custom officer was so happy (maybe he get commision for it) that he caught me and shouted some codeword to his partner. His partner then escort me to the office to take down my particulars and to throw away the gums.
We reach the Queens St interchange around 12 plus and went for supper before heading home. After washing up, I wrote a feedback letter to 707 regarding the lousy communication between them and the coach drivers. If I had not called them, I wondered if they know that the coach will be late. Till then, I still have not received a reply. Therefore 707 is now condemned.
